Sonographer – Travel

Location: Weirton, WV

Pay: $2,734.20 per week

Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts, 6-6, 7-7, occasional 11-11

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Sonographer for a travel assignment in Weirton, WV. This role provides an opportunity to work in an acute care setting with a focus on general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular imaging. The successful candidate will integrate with a dynamic team performing comprehensive imaging services, utilizing Siemens S2000 equipment, and engaging with advanced EMR and PACS systems.

Key Responsibilities of the Sonographer

• Conduct general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular imaging including upper and lower venous and arterial examinations.
• Manage 35 scans per day in a 24-hour operation.
• Start intravenous lines as required for patient procedures.
• Engage with Imaging Director and Manager to coordinate scan schedules and optimize workflow.
• Operate within a fast-paced environment, exhibiting effective multitasking abilities.

Requirements of the Sonographer

• Active BLS Certification
• Valid West Virginia Sonography License
• ARDMS and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification via ARDMS
• Experience with OB and arterial extremity Doppler
• Familiarity with Siemens S2000 equipment, EMR-Community Works, and PACS-Intellirad/Intelliconnect systems
