Senior Center Program Specialist

Part-Time Senior Center Program SpecialistThe Social, Youth, & Senior Services Department seeks a dependable and empathetic team member to serve as a Part-Time Senior Center Program Specialist at the Community Center. This position provides essential support to the Senior Center Coordinator.Examples of Specific Duties:Provides assistance in the planning and organizing of programs and special events.Assists Senior Center Coordinator with operations of Wethersfield Senior Center.Works with staff, volunteers and sponsors to coordinate program operations.Helps staff with outreach and marketing efforts, which can include website, social media, monthly newsletters and program adsQualifications:Associate's degree, with a minimum of two years' work experience in Senior Services or a related field.Possession of a State of Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
