Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Weekend and Holiday Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Medical/Surgical units, including Vent, Ortho, and General Med/Surg populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:9 nurse-to-patient ratio, supported by PCA Techs on the unit
• Utilize electronic health record system (EPIC) for documentation, orders, and patient management
• Adhere to unit-specific dress code (Navy Blue scrubs) and all facility policies and procedures
• Float within Med/Surg units as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• COVID vaccination required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients
• Orthopedic nursing experience
• Comfort working in a high-census, fast-paced Med/Surg environment
