Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• Lead and oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Review and approve financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
• Utilize NetSuite and Resident Interface to optimize financial reporting, streamline processes, and support effective resident and account management.
• The Accounting Manager will partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
• Coordinate external audits, maintain GAAP compliance, and strengthen internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and mitigate risk.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
• Proven expertise with NetSuite, including financial reporting, month-end close, and system optimization.
• Experience with Resident Interface and/or property management accounting platforms strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
