Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant

Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. Assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence.

Responsibilities:

Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with education for patients and their families regarding therapy practices.
Communicate patient status regularly with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or ability to obtain).
Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
