ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

We are seeking a proactive, visionary Data Modernization Systems Engineer Technical Project Manager to serve as the lead interface for the customer’s Chief Data Architect on the TKO program. In this high-visibility, transformative role, you will be the face of a critical initiative aimed at streamlining enterprise data processing and reshaping the customer’s entire data environment. You will bridge high-level architectural strategy with tactical engineering execution—translating vague guidance into clear courses of action, aligning stakeholders, driving agile release planning, and continuously identifying new growth opportunities.

The annual base salary range for this role is $165,000-$196,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

, Required Skills

Agile Leadership Project Management: Proven experience in Agile/SAFe/Scrum environments, using Jira and Confluence to structure roadmaps, manage sprints, track deliverables, and run Scrum of Scrums.

Requirements Translation Execution: Exceptional capability to take ambiguous guidance from senior leadership and transform it into prioritized, actionable technical tasks and roadmaps.

Data Architecture Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise data flow architecture and data movement concepts to guide large-scale software modernization.

Technical Workflow Knowledge: Experience guiding enterprise software development teams, evaluating Git workflows (commits, merges, branches), and resolving architectural impediments.

Stakeholder Facilitation: Superior communication skills with a track record of building trust with senior customer leadership, leading alignment meetings, and documenting operational outcomes.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree  in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, paired with relevant full-lifecycle software development experience (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on professional experience) PLUS 10+ years  experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR  High School Diploma / GED , PLUS 14+ years of specialized technical experience in lieu of a degree.

, Desired Skills

Product Ownership SAFe: Hands-on experience performing as a Product Owner in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) enterprise environment.

Data Flow Tooling: Familiarity with Apache NiFi, data acquisition frameworks, and automated data routing.

SIGINT Operations: Operational SIGINT background, particularly with data acquisition, movement, and mission partner interfaces.

Development Ecosystems: Practical experience working with GitLab and unclassified development environments to accelerate prototyping.
