P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant - Geriatric Salary Range: $29.55 - $31.49 per hour Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, no weekend rotation, flexible schedule We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our geriatric patients. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and regain independence. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities to improve strength, range of motion, and balance Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care Qualifications Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant Minimum of 2 years of experience working with geriatric patients Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Flexibility in schedule to accommodate patient needs We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, competitive salary, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
