CDL - Driver
Looking for local driving and to be home every night? Join our team today! Valid Texas Commercial Driver License Required-CLASS B Major duties include:
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
- Maneuver vehicles safely in various traffic and road conditions
- Communicate effectively with departmental dispatchers, supervisors, and coworkers
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to residents and businesses
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new drivers
- Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles
- Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B is required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial driver
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents
