Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking to grow our team! One of our amazing employees is advance their career in the fitness industry, which creates an excellent opportunity for one or two new individuals. We're looking for passionate and skilled individuals to step into their roles and become a welcome part of our team.We have flexible hours available whether you are looking to pick up just a couple of shifts per week or work as many as six days per week.Front Desk Representatives are responsible for keeping the club and equipment clean, neat, and orderly, as well as greeting and assisting members, making smoothies and working together with Sales and Kids Place staff to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.Our staff members are treated to a complimentary gym membership to all our clubs!AVAILABLE SHIFTS:Evenings 2pm - 8pm (Monday - Friday)Mornings 8am - 12pm (Saturday)Security shifts available outside of regular staffed hours per requestESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGreets and checks in all members and guestsSells retail products and servicesAnswers and directs all incoming phone calls, updates billingFields all member complaints and concernsPerforms Opening and Closing Procedures for the clubCleaning and organizing the equipment and the clubMust be able to lift 50 pounds, typing and standing for long periods of timeMaintains professionalism and appearanceWhen not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-relatedOther duties as assignedREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIESExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent team and leadership skillsA comprehensive understanding customer service/guest relationsMust be highly motivated and energetic and organizedAbility to multitaskAn understanding of health club operationsMust be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessaryMust be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessaryREQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEExperience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferredCollege degree preferredCPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or will be providedABOUT US:Zoo Health Club Derry has many amenities such as 24/7/365 member keycard access, state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, group fitness classes, babysitting, DrinkFit smoothie bar, Blitz45 Functional Training, RunTV cardio, personal training, nutrition coaching, training turf, locker room, showers, steam rooms, electric saunas, tanning and more.ABILITY TO COMMUTE/RELOCATE:Derry, NH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)SUPPLEMENTAL PAYCommission payBonus payTips
