Highlights Night shifts only, a consistent 7P to 7A structure for predictable planning No call, onsite coverage only so your time off stays protected Community ED, 11 beds and about 13,000 annual visits for a manageable pace Hospitalists handle admissions, you can stay focused on ED flow and disposition Practice Setting Inpatient community hospital emergency department Two physician coverage model with one APC across the 24 hour cycle APC support commonly 12P to 10P, with the department often quieter after 10P Adult patient population, no pediatrics admitted at this site Higher acuity patients are transferred to a regional center Schedule Approximately 13 night shifts per month 12 hour shifts, 7P to 7A Long term coverage need, ideal if you want ongoing months rather than a short fill in Cases and Procedures Typical community emergency presentations Imaging on site includes MRI and X ray, with reads available around the clock Ultrasound available after hours by call in Weekday specialty availability includes general surgery, cardiology, and orthopedics Requirements Must be an MD or DO Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine accepted, ABEM welcomed, FM must be comfortable in the ED setting Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years Active Kentucky license in hand Comfortable documenting in Epic Reach out to connect about this Kentucky nights only EM role with no call and hospitalist admissions, and I will share the current shift availability and start details.
