Position Overview We're excited to welcome a passionate and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional imaging services. In this role, you will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, work alongside caring professionals, and provide reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Core Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining each step with empathy and clarity
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions with urgency
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical record system
- Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Excellent technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to function independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
