Core Responsibilities - Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining each step with empathy and clarity
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions with urgency
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical record system
- Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Education Qualifications - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
