Carilion Clinic is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice physician to join a well-respected and busy group of 8 providers in Pearisburg, Virginia. This immediate opening offers the chance to practice in a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic, focusing on patient care with the support of electronic medical records (EPIC) and centralized administrative services. The role is situated in the scenic Appalachian Mountains, providing an appealing environment for both professional and personal life.

- Practice facility offers state-of-the-art technology that includes electronic medical records (EPIC) and centralized patient registration and billing
- Practice is located in a newly built spacious modern office building (2014) adjacent to Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed facility
- Carilion Clinic is the largest not-for-profit integrated health system serving nearly one million people in Western Virginia, with 7 hospitals, 220+ physician practice locations, and 24 GME programs
- Our medical home approach to primary care lets you focus your energy on the highest risk patients while the electronic medical record enables seamless coordination with Carilion's specialist
- Site qualifies for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC)
Compensation
- Min Starting Salary: $220,000
- Max Starting Salary: $320,000
- You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary
- Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary
- Incentive Pay: productivity-based/RVU compensation plan and bonus incentive
- Student Loan Forgiveness: available
- Relocation Paid: allowance up to $10,000

Requirements
- ABMS/AOA-BC/BE in Family Medicine, with plan in place to sit for Boards
- Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license and DEA
- Team player, highly motivated, excellent communication skills
- Graduating residents encouraged to apply
