Electronics Test Technician

Adecco is seeking skilled Electronics Test Technicians for a leading manufacturer specializing in enterprise power and electrical distribution equipment located in Richmond, VA . Position Details: Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour Shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) Flexibility required for occasional weekends and shift changes based on business needs Key Responsibilities: Test, troubleshoot, and validate electrical and electronic equipment, including UPS systems, power distribution units, and related components. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues down to the PCB and component level. Operate and program electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power meters, and circuit board testers. Work with three-phase power systems and high-voltage electrical equipment safely and efficiently. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation. Identify production issues and report design or documentation discrepancies. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to enhance product performance and manufacturing processes. Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills, including board-level diagnostics. Proficient in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Experience with oscilloscopes, power meters, and other electronic testing tools. Preferably experienced with three-phase power systems and high-power electrical equipment. Manufacturing or test lab experience is a plus. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is advantageous. Computer proficiency, including SAP and Microsoft Office. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work effectively in a production environment. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
