Role Description:
Strong hands-on experience with Db2 for z/OS as a system programmer and administrator, including performance monitoring and optimisation Good working knowledge of SMP/E, with experience supporting Db2 installation, maintenance, and version upgrades Experience managing, maintaining, and upgrading Db2-related third party (ISV) software products Has experience communicating and translating complex technical concepts for Senior Leadership Has a proven track record of leading resolution and troubleshooting of critical on-line systems Is structured and proactive, with the ability to take full ownership of a technology domain Is comfortable working in 24/7, high-availability environments Is calm and methodical under pressure in incident situations
