Sale Day Associate

The Sale Day Associate position at New Life Estate Sales is a position that assists primarily with the actual event, the estate sale. A Sale Day Associate is part of the team that is on site the days of the sale. This means arriving at the client’s home before the sale at the designated time and staying until the end of the sale each day. The Sale Day Associate may help with staging and pricing if needed, as well as monitoring sections of the sale for pilfering and problem solving. The Sale Day Associate will learn the cashier equipment and can readily check customers out. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting part time work with growth opportunities. College students, retirees or people who just want to try something new are all viable candidates for this position. Work Hours Thursday – Sunday 0800 – 4:00 May just be Friday – Sunday if it is a 3 day sale. Duties Punctuality on every sale day, ready to assist the Lead with whatever is needed to get the sale open Last minute set-up, staging, researching and pricing Posting signage both in the home and posting directional event signs leading to the home Helping customers find items or pricing, unloading those with full hands, answer questions or concerns Adept with the cash out system, entering discounts, completing transactions for customers Other duties may be assigned as needed Requirements Retail sales experience is desired but not required Current driver’s license and ability to drive within 50 miles from Nashville Detail orientation and strong organizational skills Great social skills, interacting with customers, providing excellent customer service Creative problem solving and able to change priorities quickly Soft computer and phone skills New Life Estate Sales is an equal opportunity employer.
