Interim Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Location: West Allis, WI 53214
Pay: $47–$52 per hour
Employment Type: 13-Week Temporary Assignment with Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Schedule: In-House / On-Site

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a 13-week interim assignment in the West Allis, Wisconsin area, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

This is an on-site, in-house opportunity for a skilled and dependable Respiratory Therapist who can provide high-quality respiratory care and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across the care setting

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered

• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, including oxygen delivery and ventilation equipment

• Assist with airway management and other respiratory procedures as appropriate

• Monitor patient response to respiratory treatments and communicate changes to the healthcare team

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Follow facility policies, clinical protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team

• Maintain a high standard of patient care, safety, and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license/credential applicable to Wisconsin

• Appropriate respiratory therapy education and credentials

• Previous clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist

• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused

• Ability to work on-site in West Allis, WI

Compensation & Assignment Details

• $47–$52 per hour

• 13-week interim assignment
