Description Licensed Mental Health Therapists provide assessments, treatments, psychotherapy, case management, and referrals to clients with various mental health needs. They offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy to clients of all ages, including those with severe mental illness and adjustment issues. Therapists also provide support and education to clients' significant others. Additionally, they offer crisis intervention and case management services as necessary. All services are provided in adherence to professional ethics and boundaries. Key Responsibilities Conduct client interviews to gather information on social history, treatment needs, and other relevant details. Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans, behavior modification strategies, and stress management techniques to help clients exhibit appropriate behaviors. Conduct clinical assessments to identify signs of abnormal mental or physical behavior. Review psychological evaluations and assessments from external providers to determine client needs. Adjust therapy methods and intensity based on client responses and requirements. Discuss progress towards goals and objectives with clients, such as medication management, family dynamics, educational plans, social development, and discharge arrangements. Manage a clinical caseload either through secure online platforms or in-person sessions as directed by the Clinical Director. Collaborate with external providers to develop treatment plans and coordinate care for clients. Maintain regular communication with other agencies and professionals to update them on client progress and treatment plans. Make referrals to support services as needed to enhance client care. Supervision (LSW) Licensed Therapists meet weekly with the Clinical Director to review treatment plans and coordinate patient care. Any issues related to clients' lack of progress or concerns about unethical or illegal behavior should be reported immediately to the Clinical Director.
