Front Desk Associate For a client in Houston, Texas, we are seeking a Front Desk Associate for a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule at $20 to $22 per hour. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, donors, and employees, and it requires consistent professionalism, clear communication, and dependable administrative support. The position involves greeting guests, directing calls, maintaining visitor logs, assisting with scheduling, and supporting front office operations in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, service-oriented, and comfortable handling both customer-facing and clerical responsibilities while following established procedures. This opportunity is suited for someone who can manage daily reception duties with accuracy, maintain a clean and efficient front desk area, and support multiple departments as needed. Benefits Pay rate is $20 to $22 per hour for this full-time weekday assignment. Schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. What You Will Do? Greet and assist visitors, customers, and donors in a courteous and professional manner. Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments efficiently. Provide information about programs, services, and donation processes as needed. Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries according to office procedures. Maintain visitor logs and help ensure adherence to company procedures at all times. Schedule appointments and assist with meeting room coordination when requested. Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and other administrative support tasks accurately. Process basic transactions and handle cash or credit card payments when required. Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional throughout the workday. Respond to customer concerns and elevate issues to management when appropriate. Your Skills Previous front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed for daily interactions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required. Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a high-volume environment is important. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for accurate daily work. Professional appearance and a positive attitude are expected in this customer-facing role. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential for success. Customer service, telephone etiquette, and administrative support skills are important.
