As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government community district, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and public agency personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols throughout community common areas, facilities, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and contractor entry in accordance with community policies; report unusual activity, policy violations, and property concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
