Operations Engineer (Level 2)

Description You will be the Operations Engineer (Level 2) for the MFC Dallas Production Operations team. Our team is responsible for linking internal and external customers, delivering high‑quality results on schedule and within budget. What You Will Be Doing As the Operations Engineer (Level 2) you will be responsible for driving initiatives that have a tangible impact on program success and ensuring seamless collaboration between the shop floor and program teams. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Spearhead key initiatives and recovery plans to keep projects on track. Coordinate communication between Dallas Operations center managers, functional leadership, and external customers. Monitor schedule and budget performance, identifying and mitigating risks. Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑quality results. Provide status reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills; able to influence without direct authority Effective written and oral communication; able to present complex data to diverse audiences Desired Skills Proficiency with data‑analysis tools Lean Six‑Sigma certification (Preferred) Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret. Work Schedules Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
