Director of OperationsSuffern (Once or two times a week in Brooklyn NY)Our client, a growing IT company, is seeking an experienced and highly capable Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the organization runs efficiently, smoothly, and effectively.This is a senior leadership position for someone with a strong IT background and proven experience managing teams, including offshore teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can oversee multiple functions, improve processes, hold teams accountable, and ensure projects and daily operations stay on track.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the company's day-to-day operations and ensure everything is running smoothlyLead, manage, and develop internal and offshore teamsEstablish clear goals, expectations, and performance standards for teamsCoordinate operations across multiple departments and functionsMonitor workflows, productivity, deadlines, and overall team performanceIdentify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve processesWork closely with leadership to develop and execute operational strategiesEnsure effective communication and collaboration between onshore and offshore teamsManage multiple priorities, projects, and initiatives simultaneouslyDevelop processes and systems that improve efficiency, accountability, and scalabilityTroubleshoot operational issues and ensure timely resolutionMonitor KPIs and operational performanceProvide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadershipEnsure teams have the resources and support needed to perform effectivelyHelp drive technology and process improvements throughout the organizationQualifications:Proven experience managing and leading teamsExperience managing offshore or distributed teams strongly preferredStrong understanding of IT operations, systems, and technologyDemonstrated ability to oversee multiple departments, projects, and prioritiesStrong leadership and people-management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environmentExperience developing and improving operational processesThe ideal candidate is a strong leader who understands both technology and business operations.
