Register patients and assist with pre-admission processes. Obtain insurance pre-authorizations as needed. Notify insurance providers of patient admissions. Support department managers with assigned tasks. Provide backup for hospital telephone operator and emergency call system. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English. Knowledge of clerical skills and Windows-based PC software. Must maintain 95%+ accuracy on monthly audits after 3 months. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, and courteous behavior. Works cooperatively with team members and across departments. Willing to learn and operate hospital telephone system, including emergency code calls.
