Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Pay: $40-45/hr This is a long term position based in Las Vegas, NV Established Solar Tracking installation company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to repair heavy duty construction equipment. Job Description This role requires a candidate with experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, specifically in troubleshooting hydraulic machinery used for post and foundation preparations. The successful candidate must possess a valid driver's license and be able to provide proof upon hiring. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic machinery used for post pounding and drilling. Perform electrical troubleshooting and circuit diagnosis. Conduct hydraulic, pneumatic, and valve repairs. Repair heavy equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC systems. Qualifications 5 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Previous experience troubleshooting skills in the areas of hydraulics, diesel engines and electrical systems Experience with controls (encoders, CANBUS, linear transducers, PLC, etc.) Heavy equipment diagnostics (CAT, Cummins) Welding and fabrication Excellent judgement and able to make responsible decisions Ability to work independently without constant direction Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences both internally and externally This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid driver's license and provide proof that s/he has a valid driver's license upon being hired. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
