Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Our products keep our customers safe and bring them home to their families at night.WHO YOU AREYou thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment and are committed to delivering best-in-class products and solutions.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance - Previous experience in Quality Engineering- Understanding of basic Hardware and Software Quality processes- Familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) standards, i.e. AS9100.Desired Skills- Ability to lead change in a fast-paced environment- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment-Supplier Quality experience - Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps- Experience with Atlassian Tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)- Experience implementing Quality metrics- Auditing and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) skills- Production an/or Hardware Quality experience- MRB certification and experience dispositioning hardware defects (i.e. Q-Notes)- Cost Account Management (CAM) certification-Active DOD Secret or Top Secret clearance Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
