We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our industrial parts team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, processing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity is based on a Production Associate career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments. Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety. Job Duties Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through email. Identify and recommend the correct parts using catalogs, schematics, and technical resources. Create sales orders, quotes, and invoices. Maintain and replenish inventory levels. Process returns, warranties, and exchanges. Keep the parts counter and storage areas organized. Work closely with service and purchasing teams to meet customer needs. Develop knowledge of hydraulic and industrial components. Build long-term customer relationships. Sell and support hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, hoses, fittings, bearings, seals, filters, regulators, and related industrial products. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
