Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2330 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Required Credentials:
Associate's degree - Respiratory Therapy
Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details:
Perform routine and critical respiratory care procedures under the supervision of a Respiratory Care Supervisor and Medical Director.
Responsible for care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Evaluates patients for routine respiratory care therapy on inpatient units and in the emergency room.
Completes assessments on ventilator patients and all other patients on respiratory care services.
Obtains and analyzes arterial, venous, and capillary blood gases.
Prepares and tests respiratory therapy equipment for proper and safe operation and checks equipment in use and on units for proper operations and routine service.
Assists with cleaning respiratory care-related equipment and stocking respiratory care-related supplies on inpatient care units.

Shift & Scheduling:
7:00AM-7:30PM.
Weekend shifts as needed.
Holiday shifts as needed.

Floating Requirements:
Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital.
The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
