Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $72.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift - 3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 4 weekend rotating shifts per month
• On-Call: Required
• Travel Requirements: Local candidates only - must reside within 50-mile radius
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics specialty at a hospital facility in Rochester, NY. The position is a night shift, 3x12 role requiring on-call availability and proficiency in EPIC charting. First-time travelers are accepted.

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• RRT certification required
• Must have an active license in hand
• NY state licensure required (NY is not a Compact state)

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Patient Diagnoses: CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, Respiratory Failure, Respiratory Infections
• Special Procedures / Unit Details: ABG Sampling, Ventilator Management, Patient Assessment Skills, Med Administration, Pulmonary Hygiene
• Special Equipment: Hamilton Vent, Servo-U, NKV330, V60
• 4 weekend rotating shifts per month required
• On-call required
