Our plant operates 24/7, offering Shipping and Receiving positions on various shifts.Location: Joplin, MissouriPosition Type: Full-TimePay: $17.50-$19.00 plus $.50 shift differentialShift:1 Opening: B Shift - Monday-Wednesday (every other SUN) 6PM-6:30AM1 Opening: C Shift - Thursday-Saturday (every other SUN) 6AM-6:30PMScheduled shifts may include nights and weekends; additional overtime may be required.Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, quarterly incentive programs, disability programs, employee assistance program, life insurance, and 80 hours of PTO starting from the first day of hire.Primary FunctionManage finished goods and raw material inventories through inventory control software.Data entry in Excel and other software.Scaling trucks.Safely operate a forklift and yard truck.Receive raw materials and unload to cooler.Load and bill shipments according to customer specifications.Accurate completion of all department paperwork.Perform detailed inspections for forklifts and yard truck.Provide backup support to all departments as needed.Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team.Minimum QualificationsMust be able to read, write, and communicate in English.Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Demonstrate knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations.Demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel.Must have organizational skills and be detail oriented.Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.Basic understanding of inventory control software.Must have a high school diploma.Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screen including THC and background check.Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience.Minimum of 2 years of forklift and/or yard dog experience.Protein Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
