About the Position

A well-established title company is seeking an experienced Title Processor to join its team. This position works closely with loan officers, lenders, real estate offices, attorneys, buyers, and sellers to coordinate and complete real estate closing transactions from the initial order through post-closing. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities

• Process real estate escrow transactions from preliminary order through final closing and post-closing
• Review buyer, seller, and lender instructions to determine escrow and closing requirements
• Order and review title reports and work to clear title issues, liens, and other encumbrances
• Prepare, assemble, and review closing documents for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs) based on lender instructions
• Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, real estate professionals, and customers throughout the closing process
• Review closing documents with parties, answer questions, and obtain required signatures
• Balance incoming funds and ensure accurate disbursement of closing proceeds
• Disburse loan proceeds upon lender approval
• Prepare and issue title policies
• Complete required post-closing activities
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of escrow/title closing experience preferred
• Experience with CD preparation and balancing, closing document preparation, post-closing, title commitments, and title policies preferred
• Strong understanding of common real estate closing documents, including CDs, deeds, mortgages, notes, TILs, affidavits, and related documents
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SoftPro Real Estate Closing Software is a plus
