Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN), Correctional Nursing, Downey, CA. This position provides nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting for a 16-week assignment. The schedule includes 8-hour shifts with evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; MAB or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification; approved Fire & Life Safety Card; Employee Health Clearance completed before the start date; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health, Medical-Surgical, Correctional Health, or Emergency Room nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Juvenile correctional nursing experience.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Assignment Length: 16 weeks.
- Additional Information: All required certifications must be completed before the start date. Full commitment to the entire assignment is required. Time-off requests are subject to approval and cannot be guaranteed.
