Collection Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Collection Specialist to manage delinquent account collections at our Corporate Office in Aurora. Responsibilities Oversee all collection activities on delinquent accounts Prepare necessary reports for management and the Board of Directors Provide financial counseling to members needing assistance Process and oversee all phases of the repossession process Serve as the Credit Union’s representative when dealing with the collections attorney, Small Claims Court, collections agencies, Bankruptcy Court, garnishments, levies, and other assigned duties Make collection calls on past‑due accounts Qualifications Strong background in all aspects of collections At least 3 years of experience in collections, preferably within credit unions or banks Benefits 14 days of leave immediately upon hire or pro‑rated if started after January 1st 6 sick days 75% paid health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan with Empower Paid life and long‑term disability insurance 11 holidays Floating day for birthdays Free snacks and drinks Quiet room with lounge chairs and a massage chair; TV available in the quit room and lunch room #J-18808-Ljbffr EmergencyMD
