Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - McKinney, Texas. The position involves working in a busy surgery unit with a focus on general, trauma, neuro, and orthopedic procedures. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to hospital protocols. The schedule includes day shifts with call requirements averaging 10 to 15 days per month.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 1 year of Operating Room experience including neuro and orthopedic/spine procedures, current BLS certification, and experience with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma center experience or additional orthopedic experience considered a plus.
• Additional Information: The unit hosts seven operating suites with approximately 45 staff members including RNs, certified surgical technologists, and ancillary support. Candidates should possess a team-oriented attitude and a positive disposition. Dress code involves hospital-provided scrubs. Call responsibilities are approximately 10-15 days per month, with some specific to CVOR positions.
