About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director, Associate General Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will be the primary legal advisor for a wide range of corporate and employment law matters, with a focus on supporting the company's debt and equity financing transactions, overseeing board and committee matters, and ensuring legal compliance in governance, ethics, and compliance policies. This role also involves supporting M&A, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions, as well as managing subsidiary formation and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree, be a member of a state bar, and have a minimum of 8 years' of relevant legal experience, including public company operating experience. Deep knowledge of corporate governance, securities law, M&A, and financing transactions is essential, and experience in the technology or energy sector, particularly in battery technology, is highly desirable. Applicants for the Director, Associate General Counsel position at the company should possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as a proven ability to manage complex legal matters and work cross-functionally.
