Sales Design Consultant

Phantom Sound | Greater Cincinnati Area

Phantom Sound is looking for a Sales Design Consultant to join our growing team in Loveland, Ohio. This is a consultative sales role for someone who can build relationships, generate new business, and guide customers through customized audio, video, lighting, shading, security, and technology solutions.

We are interested in finding a strong sales professional with proven success developing business and building relationships. Experience selling into construction, building products, luxury services, design, or another relationship-based industry could translate well. Phantom Sound provides training on its products, systems, and design process.

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage relationships with residential and commercial customers.
• Develop new business through networking, referrals, industry relationships, and direct outreach.
• Build relationships with builders, contractors, architects, designers, business owners, IT leaders, and facilities professionals.
• Manage a mix of existing accounts, inbound opportunities, and self-generated business.
• Meet with customers to understand their needs, goals, and space.
• Develop customized solutions and proposals based on those needs.
• Present proposals, make adjustments, and close projects.
• Stay connected with customers after the sale to help ensure a strong overall experience.
• Maintain opportunities and sales activity through Pipedrive CRM.
• Participate regularly in networking and industry events throughout Greater Cincinnati.

• Proven sales experience with success generating new business.
• A true hunter mentality, comfortable creating opportunities rather than relying solely on incoming leads.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Confident, professional communication skills with an ability to listen and understand what the customer actually needs.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages.
• Comfortable meeting customers at homes, businesses, and active jobsites.
• Comfortable learning products and translating customer needs into customized solutions.
• Experience using a CRM or similar sales technology.

About Phantom Sound

Phantom Sound provides customized technology solutions for high-end residential and commercial customers. Its clients include homeowners building multimillion-dollar homes, residential builders, general contractors, architects, commercial property owners, and businesses with audio, video, lighting, security, and technology needs. The company has approximately 10 employees and performs its installation work in-house.
