Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1890 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >65 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Baptist Health UAB and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Baptist Health UAB.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers allowed with at least 2 years of experience and Cerner or Epic EMR experience. Adult general and critical care required.

Preferred Credentials: ACLS and APLS preferred.

Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. Up to 7 days off may be approved, excluding provided blackout dates.

Unit Details: Provides respiratory care throughout the hospital. Uses Omnicell, Spacelabs monitors, and PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, and Airvo ventilators.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Voluntary call. One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.

Floating Requirements: Float to like units/patient locations. NICU therapists will also work with adults.
