Greenbrier Senior Living 3107 Timberlake Road Vestavia Hills, AL35243 3107 Timberlake Dr Birmingham, AL 35243 Financial Analyst Salary: 90,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD / YEAR Greenbrier Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the organization’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This role is instrumental in providing financial insight to leadership, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of our senior living communities. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound financial judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments in a mission-driven healthcare and real estate environments. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial and operational data to support strategic planning and business decisions. Prepare accurate, timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership. Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to forecast performance and evaluate business initiatives. Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and support cost control and efficiency efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and data integrity. Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments impacting senior living and healthcare finance. Support operations and community leadership by preparing and providing financial data and analysis for monthly ownership presentations. Collaborate with the President, Executive Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer to evaluate new business opportunities and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics , or a related field. Demonstrated experience as a Financial Analyst or in a comparable financial role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear, professional manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in senior living, healthcare, or multi-site operations is strongly preferred.
