Cardiac Sonographer Opportunity
Immediate need for a talented Cardiac Sonographer. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, Texas (onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM 5:30 PM)
Schedule: Full-time, 4/10-hour shifts
Rotating weekends required
Weekends: 5:30 PM 7:00 AM
Weekdays: 5:30 PM 6:30 AM
Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures according to protocol
Conduct transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
Evaluate patient history to frame clinical questions and expand exams as needed
Prepare equipment and position patients for optimal imaging
Review images and report preliminary findings to physicians
Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure comfort and understanding
Participate in rotating weekend and weekday call schedule
Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality standards
Graduate of Accredited Program OR 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer required
RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS) required
BLS certification within 30 days of hire
RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI, or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS
BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
Graduate of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification
