Leads professional learning, supports curriculum implementation, and partners with school leaders to ensure alignment to district instructional priorities. Essential Job Functions Instructional Coaching & Leadership Provide coaching and feedback to teachers and instructional teams across multiple sites Support school leaders in strengthening instructional practices and team development Model effective teaching strategies and support high-quality instruction Professional Learning Design and facilitate professional learning for teachers and instructional teams across schools Support implementation of district-adopted curriculum and instructional frameworks Build capacity of teacher leaders and collaborative teams Curriculum & Instruction Alignment Support alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices Assist teachers with lesson internalization and instructional planning Promote consistent, standards-based practices across sites Data & Continuous Improvement Analyze school-level data to identify trends and inform instructional decisions Support schools in developing and implementing improvement strategies Monitor progress and adjust support as needed Collaboration Partner with principals, instructional leaders, and district staff Facilitate cross-school collaboration and sharing of best practices Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of Advanced instructional practices across content areas Curriculum implementation and alignment across grade levels Data analysis at classroom and school levels Professional learning design and facilitation School improvement processes and structures Skills in Coaching individuals and teams across multiple sites Designing and delivering differentiated professional learning Analyzing and communicating instructional trends Supporting teacher leaders and collaborative teams Facilitating cross-school collaboration Ability to Influence instructional practices without formal authority Manage competing priorities across multiple schools Build capacity in both teachers and instructional leaders Synthesize data to inform system-level decisions Navigate complex school and district dynamics Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field Valid state teaching license Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience Demonstrated instructional leadership (e.g., team lead, mentor teacher, department chair) Experience supporting adult learners or facilitating professional learning Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field Experience working across multiple schools or diverse settings Formal training in instructional coaching or leadership development Experience analyzing and using school-level data to inform instruction Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work is primarily sedentary with periods of light activity. Essential functions may include walking or standing for brief periods; lifting and carrying materials up to 20 pounds; climbing stairs; bending; reaching; handling objects; and operating a computer and standard office equipment. The role requires effective communication and the ability to receive and process information through normal or aided vision, hearing, or other assisted means. Work is performed in a district office or administrative setting with regular collaboration across departments and external partners, and may include occasional evening or weekend responsibilities. Duties may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Benefits Non-Recurring Pay: 8% of base salary in Non-Recurring Pay (distributed as 4% on November paycheck and 4% on May paycheck). Professional Development Fund (PDF): Allocate $1,500 annually towards professional development; amount prorated based on hire date and duration. Each step corresponds to two years of experience, based on equivalent experience. Beginning July 2025, the maximum years of experience granted is 14 (equivalent to placement on step seven). Steps are determined by experience listed on the application and resume. Salary Setting (Rehires) Returning employees previously resigned or separated will be rehired at the same step they were on at the time of resignation, plus any new experience gained in the same job, provided step increases were approved by the Board. Employees with prior district experience who left and returned will be hired at the same pay grade and step at time of resignation. Additional experience after resignation may be evaluated from the application and updated resume.
