Senior IT QA Lead/ Tester - POS Systems

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior IT QA Lead/Tester with deep expertise in Retail POS Systems. This is a hands‑on testing role within a fast‑paced, cross‑functional QA team supporting onshore/offshore delivery models. The ideal candidate will have strong retail domain knowledge, excellent testing skills, and the ability to drive high‑quality POS testing initiatives from start to finish. Compensation Pay range: $55/hr on w2 to $60/hr on w2 Responsibilities Act as a hands‑on Senior QA Lead/Tester for POS testing activities Participate in functional and technical design reviews to understand retail workflows and POS integrations Create, review, and maintain detailed POS test cases and scenarios Validate and prepare accurate test data for execution Execute POS test cases and provide clear proof of testing and traceability Perform end‑to‑end testing of POS workflows including sales, returns, refunds, exchanges, promotions, discounts, taxes, and tender processing Document defects with detailed evidence and business impact using approved test management tools Collaborate with application teams for defect investigation, fixes, and retesting Communicate testing status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality testing outcomes in Agile and Waterfall environments Required Qualifications 10+ years of hands‑on experience testing Retail POS systems Strong understanding of retail transactions and POS workflows Proven experience leading execution as a Senior Tester or Hands‑on Test Lead Ability to validate data using SQL queries Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Commitment to delivering production‑ready, high‑quality solutions Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees, including medical, dental, 401(k), direct deposit, and commuter benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr Solomon Page
