Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Technical & Skilled Recruiter to join our staffing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and placing highly qualified candidates in skilled trades, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, logistics, technical, and industrial positions. You will work closely with clients and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver exceptional talent while maintaining a high level of customer service.

This position requires a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment, has excellent communication skills, and can manage multiple priorities while building strong relationships with candidates and clients.

Essential Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified candidates using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques.
• Recruit for technical and skilled positions including but not limited to:
• • Maintenance Technicians
  • PLC Technicians
  • Electricians
  • Welders
  • CNC Machinists
  • Mechanical Assemblers
  • Manufacturing Engineers
  • Quality Technicians
  • Field Service Technicians
  • Industrial Maintenance Mechanics
  • Logistics Professionals
  • Skilled Warehouse Personnel
• Review resumes and conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews.
• Evaluate candidates' technical skills, work history, certifications, and overall qualifications.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
• Prepare candidates for interviews and provide coaching throughout the hiring process.
• Manage candidate pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Maintain regular communication with candidates regarding application status and opportunities.
• Perform employment verifications, reference checks, background checks, and drug screening coordination.
• Complete onboarding paperwork and ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with passive and active candidates.
• Partner with Account Managers and Business Development teams to fulfill client staffing needs.
• Meet recruiting metrics including placements, fill ratios, time-to-fill, and candidate retention.
• Attend job fairs, networking events, and recruiting initiatives.
• Build talent pools for future hiring needs.
• Maintain accurate recruiting documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in staffing or agency recruiting.
• Experience recruiting technical, manufacturing, engineering, skilled trades, or industrial professionals preferred.
• Knowledge of recruiting techniques, sourcing strategies, and employment laws.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Staffing agency recruiting experience.
• Recruiting for light industrial, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or skilled trades.
• Experience using Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, ZipRecruiter, and other sourcing platforms.
• Familiarity with staffing software such as Avionté, Bullhorn, or similar ATS systems.
• Knowledge of employment verification, onboarding, I-9, and E-Verify processes.
