Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Home Care

Self-scheduled shifts with a minimum of 3 shifts per 13-week contract.

Contract length of 13 weeks; one block of pre-approved time off allowed, must follow RTO rules.

1 year of experience required.

Certification in BLS required.

Pending license accepted; must obtain necessary state license.

Familiarity with home health care, OASIS, ADL training, adaptive equipment, transfers/lifting, and related clinical skills is mandatory.

Experience with charting in Epic preferred.

Provide occupational therapy services for various patient age groups.

Conduct assessments and evaluations to establish a plan of care.

Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.

All requests for time off must be finalized at time of submission. Compliance documentation due by 3 PM CST on the Monday before the start date. COVID-19 vaccination not required; flu vaccine required for compliance.
