Safety Specialist / Owner Safety Representative (OSR)
\nLocation: Richmond, VA – Projects throughout Virginia
\nEmployment Type: Full-Time
\nDuration : 1 year with possibility of extension
\nField-Based: Approximately 60–70% in active construction environments
\n \nRequired Qualifications
\n- \n
- 5+ years of construction safety experience. \n
- AND one of the following: \n
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Construction Management, or related field; OR \n
- CHST certification; OR \n
- Current OSHA 500 certification. \n
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards. \n
- Ability to identify and cite applicable OSHA standards in real-world field situations. \n
- Experience conducting construction safety inspections, audits, and field observations. \n
- Strong hazard identification and corrective-action experience. \n
- Strong computer and digital reporting skills. \n
- Comfortable using iPhone/iOS or tablet applications for field documentation. \n
- Ability to work effectively in active construction environments. \n
- Willingness to travel between project sites throughout Virginia. \n
- Ability to rotate between project locations approximately every 6–12 months based on project needs. \n
