Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate plays a key role in the movement, storage, and preparation of products within a large chemical distribution facility. This position focuses on shipping and receiving activities, loading and unloading trucks by hand, and accurately following pick lists to ensure orders are processed and staged correctly. You will help keep the warehouse organized, support inventory accuracy, and contribute to a smooth and efficient distribution operation.ResponsibilitiesMove products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently using appropriate material handling techniques.Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading trucks by hand, checking inventory against documentation, and recording received items accurately.Follow detailed pick lists and pick sheets to locate stock, verify correct quantities, and pull orders from racks.Stage pallets and shipments on the docks in preparation for loading and dispatch.Manually stack boxes on skids and wrap skids with shrink wrap to secure loads for shipment.Load trucks with the correct inventory as they arrive, ensuring accuracy and proper staging.Put away inventory in correct locations, label products, and rotate stock so older inventory is at the front and newer inventory is placed behind.Help organize and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse once picking and staging tasks are complete.Work closely with team members to double-check inventory counts and documentation for accuracy.Support material handling, packing, and general production-related tasks as needed within the distribution center.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ringwood, IL. The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
