PT Keyholder - Jersey Shore

Overview:

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Keyholder to join its Jersey Shore store in Tinton Falls, New Jersey . The Keyholder is a responsible and trusted individual who plays a critical role in the daily operations and security of the store. This position involves managing opening and closing procedures, ensuring the safety of the premises and merchandise, handling cash, and providing leadership support to the team in the absence of management. Beyond operational duties, the Keyholder actively supports sales and service, delivering an exceptional client experience and engaging in clienteling to contribute to store performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

• De-escalate conflicts and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Consistently achieve or exceed individual & store sales and other commercial KPIs.
• Ensure the store is always guest ready - a place where clients feel comfortable, welcomed and free to be themselves.
• Build the sale to achieve KPIs by establishing yourself as an expert and go-to source for styling expertise, seasonal trends and product knowledge.
• Illustrate the different stages within the client journey and the core behaviors needed to provide a unique and elevated experience – all with the goal of driving repeat business.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of Marc Jacobs Universe inclusive of product, Brand DNA and pillars.
• Capture client data by cultivating new and existing client relationships.
• Initiate regular client contact and provide prompt follow-up on all sales, events, or client inquiries.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication with colleagues and management.
• Maintain a curious and learning attitude by continuously seeking and receiving feedback from colleagues and management.
• Ensure both the sales floor and stockroom are well-organized.
• Execute opening and closing duties.
• Maintain the physical security of the establishment and protect valuable assets.
• Provide leadership support and help run the store when managers are unavailable.
• Support the maintenance and organization of the stockroom.
• Process sales transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures.
• Prepare bank deposits and reconcile cash registers at the end of the day.

• 3+ years’ experience in a retail setting.
• Proven reliability, dependability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility to work retail schedules inclusive of evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues and de-escalate situations calmly.
• Confidence in managing cash transactions, preparing deposits, and ensuring register accuracy.
• Strong ability to manage tasks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Ability to identify problems and find solutions quickly.
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer literacy.
• Meticulousness in handling financial tasks and security procedures.
• Ability to display product knowledge to assist customers and drive sales.

SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:

The compensation for this position ranges from $18.25 - $18.75 (hourly) . The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
