General/GYN Scrub Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM 3:00 PM with required on-call shifts.

We are seeking a skilled General/GYN Scrub Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in general and gynecological surgery. This position involves assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and collaborating with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical field.
Assist surgeons with instrumentation and supplies during procedures.
Ensure proper counts of instruments and supplies before, during, and after surgery.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in maintaining inventory and ordering surgical supplies as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certified Scrub Technician certification.
Minimum of three years of experience in general and gynecological surgery.
A permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
