Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12 Days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN) for a new unit. This position involves patient monitoring and care for adults and geriatrics, using advanced bedside monitoring technology. The ideal candidate will work alongside a supportive leadership team and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication of patient needs and progress.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
