IT Project Coordinator

Job Title

Under minimal supervision, is responsible for coordinating external resources to ensure project deliverables are completed on time. Works directly with Network Engineering and Operations department leaders, and third-party business partners to support scheduling of third-party technicians and contacting stores to ensure the technicians will have access to the store. Additionally, tracks and reports on project task completion on a weekly/bi-weekly basis to ensure project stakeholders are informed with progress.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Place calls/communicate to DG stores based on 3rd party technician dates to ensure the stores are aware of the upcoming installation, and align dates and times as needed to ensure least possible disruption to store operations.
• Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirements
• Performs rollout support with day-to-day events
• Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
• Create run books, installation documents, and other training information where such need may arise.

Work Experience &/or Education

Associate's degree preferred. Two to Three years' experience in the information technology or project management field, with an emphasis on coordination of project resources preferred. Experience in report and/or project tracking to assist in maintaining a clear picture of the project status and any roadblocks or refinements that may be needed. One or more technical certifications and focused training in networking, operations, project management, or asset management is preferred.
