Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Position Title: Material Handler Wage: $22.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday) Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Material Handler at a company in Fall River, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Material Handler Responsibilities: Load, unload and move materials within the distribution center Load and unload materials from racking, floor, trucks, etc. Convey materials to or from storage to designated area, using a forklift, hand truck, stand up picker Operate industrial truck and stand up picker to assist in loading or moving materials and products Fill out a daily inspection before starting up the forklift Assists with routine or general housekeeping tasks as they relate to the plants 6s plan Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards Requirements for Material Handler: High School Diploma or equivalent At least two years of forklift experience ideally in a warehouse setting Experience in a fast pace environment Previous experience with moving all size objects from small to large Ability to lift up to 55lbs Ability to stand for 8 hour shift Ability to squat, bend, and kneel frequently Ability to perform basic math skills Problem solving skills and self-sufficient Ability to work within a team environment to accomplish an overall goal Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
