Informatics Consultant

Position Summary Handle health plan data and trends for Meritain Health’s clients. Collaborate with the Client Solutions Team to leverage analytics tools for evaluating quantitative and qualitative data. Translate insights into comprehensive, actionable results for employers. Proactively offer insights on client plan performance, turning data into actionable information. Effectively communicate and collaborate across departments to manage client and broker requests for your block of business. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on client management, clients and brokers related to the internal analytics tool and their data. Responsibilities Analyze health plan data and trends for clients. Collaborate with the Client Solutions Team to evaluate quantitative and qualitative data. Translate data into actionable insights and results for employers. Proactively provide insights on client plan performance. Communicate and collaborate across departments to manage client and broker requests. Become a subject‑matter expert for client management and the internal analytics tool. Required Qualifications At least 1 year of experience working with Tableau for data visualization and analytics. At least 1 year of consultative data analysis experience. At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Experience with reporting platforms such as Big Data analytics, data mining, and Tableau. 3+ years of Excel experience. Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail. Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize work effectively. Experience in statistical analysis. Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills. Understanding of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of project management experience. At least 1 year of experience working with health care insurance, primarily with self‑funded claims and an understanding of data sources and categories. Medical coding experience. Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Work Environment Hybrid work environment. Eligible for a hybrid or office‑based location working onsite three days a week. Suitable work location discussed with the selected candidate. Pay Typical pay range: $43,888.00 – $102,081.00. Base salary depends on experience, education, geography and other factors.
