The Immigrants Rights Center (IRC) Grant Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting the grant manager with the management and organization of various IRC grants to ensure compliance with grant deliverables and reporting./ph3Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliSupport IRCs compliance with grant requirements and reporting obligations./liliMonitor IRC grant progress and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables./liliMaintain systems to track grant deliverables, deadlines, and reporting obligations./liliCoordinate with CAIR-LA and CAIR-CA Finance and Institutional Giving teams to ensure internal IRC tracking of grant expenditures and appropriate spend down of grant funds./liliAssist with maintaining accurate data collection to ensure quality and consistency for reports and evaluations./liliMaintain internal reporting tools and dashboards for leadership to monitor progress on grant goals./liliMaintain accurate and organized records related to grant activities and subgrantees./liliCoordinate with CAIR-CA and CAIR-LAs Finance, Development/and Institutional Giving teams on all IRC grants./liliAssist and coordinate with the development department to update IRC grant progress./liliCoordinate meetings and events with subgrantees, government agencies, foundations, grantors, and community partners./liliAssist with providing technical assistance and general correspondence to subgrantees./liliRepresent the IRC in funder meetings, site visits, and compliance reviews./liliAll CAIR-CA staff are required to help with fundraising efforts as required./liliCAIR-CA staff may be required to attend some weekend or weekday evening events./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliAssociate degree in nonprofit management, public administration, social sciences, finance, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience./liliOne year of experience in grant management, compliance, or program administration./liliDemonstrated success in working with government (federal, state, or local) and foundation grants./liliUnderstanding of grant compliance requirements, reporting standards, and budget oversight./liliFamiliarity with grant programs and case management systems./liliExperience with data entry and preparing grant reports./liliDemonstrated experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds is preferred./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)./liliWorking knowledge of SharePoint/liliExcellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail./liliOutstanding verbal and written communication skills./liliHigh level of professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information./liliStrong ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment./liliAbility to work independently, be flexible, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment./liliAbility to interface with organization partners, community members, clients, and potential clients with a high degree of professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity./liliDemonstrated accountability, initiative, and receptiveness to direction and feedback./liliA strong commitment to civil rights and CAIRs mission./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in nonprofit management, public administration, social sciences, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred./liliExperience in working with nonprofit organization that provides immigration legal services or other types of services to the immigrant and refugee community is preferred./liliStrong aptitude for technology and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems./liliMultilingual skills are preferred.
